At the museum garden we discover the different seasonal fruits and flowers in Germany. We discover apples that are yet to ripen, since these aren't typical summer fruits. We see a bush of beautiful French Hydrangeas that are very common during the warm summer season in Germany. The museum garden is designed in a historical German style. It is especially interesting to visit the fruit and vegetable garden, since we discover some fragrant strawberries. The strawberry season is towards late spring and hence is nearly over in Germany. On the way home we even learnt some fun facts about the city of Bonn and its special connection to the United Nations, the UN. The trip to the museum garden seemed to be an amazing combination of history and biology. The Wandering Learners have truly learnt a lot during this trip.
