Like IRL fishing, there's a certain degree of luck involved, sure, but there's also some area open to skill. It's all about what abilities you use, and when. I'm not an expert, but I have scored over 1 MILLION Ocean Fishing points and am on my way to 3 Million for the Title - and these are things I have learned.
