LOST ODYSSEY: A Thousand Years of Reading - Hanna's Departure

ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

"A Thousand Years of Reading" is a little audiobook project for the Xbox 360 game LOST ODYSSEY. The game contains "A Thousand Years of Dreams" - a collection of short stories that sheds light on the backstories of the game's main characters who are seemingly immortal and have been living for a millenium. Having lost their memories, getting into certain situations in the game, some of their memories are re-triggered in the form of these dreams. There are 33 dreams in total, most of which being about the main protagonist Kaim, though some episodes deal with the characters of Seth, Ming, or Sarah.

I recently played through the game for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'm not a huge person when it comes to reading though so I skipped through the stories when I played since, at times, it would halter the flow of playing when I just want to run around a JRPG, level up my skills and take items from people's houses. I was intrigued by the concept of the stories though, so I looked up if there were videos of people reading out the episodes themselves so I could listen to them while leveling up my party, but there were only a handful of videos like that. So as a consequence I decided to just do it myself and read all episodes after all anyway(???). Reading out loud can be a difficult task so I'm using this as a means to practice that skill. Maybe more people find enjoyment in this project or some of you can play the game yourself while listening to "A Thousand Years of Reading" to enhance your own experience with the game.
