The next entry into the Outbreak series has come out and it has taken the form of a rogue-like. Animations have been overhauled, so while we will be seeing familiar faces, they will be moving like never before. Multiple cameras have been added to the game that can be changed on the fly, making this a very unique experience in the horror scene. Sadly, online play did not make the cut, but there is local co-op, and on PC, you should be able to do Remote Play to get a quasi-online experience.

Anyway, there are 6 characters to play as, who all level up on their own, so it is up to you if you want to stick with old favorites, or give them all a go. As they level, they will get stronger naturally, and also unlock skills that you can equip for a bit of a competitive edge. Choose how you want to pace yourself, either focusing on building levels, accumulating gear, or somewhere in the middle as you make your escape from the nightmare.
