Chicago - Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon ["Make Me Smile Medley"] (2020 Quad-to-Stereo Mix)

Описание к видео Chicago - Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon ["Make Me Smile Medley"] (2020 Quad-to-Stereo Mix)

Composed by James Pankow, here is the masterful seven-piece suite "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" off of the 1970 album "Chicago" (or namely Chicago II).

This is a sophisticated fold-down of the quadraphonic mix from the "Quadio" box set, using the 192,000hz files. Though there may be some slight balanced issues that I wasn't able to correct, I did apply azimuth alignment and performed some minor EQ and compression to create a very interesting and open mix. Now, more than ever (pun intended), the band sounds like they are playing in your living room (or head).
