Tension as Richard Gomez corrects Erwin Tulfo on urging amendment: 'Matagal na, tinanggal na'

Tension brewed between Leyte 4th District Rep. Richard Gomez and ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo during the December 16 session of the House of Representatives, after the former actor corrected the former TV journalist on urging an amendment to Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.

Gomez, vice-chairperson of the House panel on dangerous drugs, told Tulfo that the precise amendment he is seeking, to exempt the media as signatories of inventory in drug operations, has in fact already been amended on the committee level.
