In the distant future, Brainiac takes over the Earth, feeding of its natural resources. Realizing the consequences, Lex Luthor travels back to the present to warn Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman of the upcoming catastrophes. The three realize they can't handle Brainiac on their own, so they start to recruit other superheroes. Together, the Justice League must stop Brainiac and save the Earth from extinction.
