Wow! What a trumpet! One of the absolute best parts of my job is being able to test some truly world-class instruments and this horn is one of the best I've played in a long time! The Schagerl Lu5a trumpet is an absolute beautiful instrument and very versatile! The tuning bell allows beautiful resonance from the bell and a tonal palette to die for.

“Its simply a tribute that i did to the lusophone [Portuguese speaking] community. The main feature of this trumpet is the bell alongside with this small detail [the wire bracing on the tuning slide and bell bow] that is a vibration conductor which makes the trumpet vibrate more with less air. This instrument...works very well on classical music and works very well also for jazz.”
