I was driving my car when check engine light came on. First thing to check is always vacuum leaks. Given the car age, vibrations typically cut the already hardened by heat and time hoses.
In this occasion it was the line that goes from charcoal canister to the throttle body.
Since I’m not doing car maintenance in the 240 until December, and I don’t want to lift the car for a more definitive solution, I used a temporary solution cutting the broken hose in two and using a copper tube to connect the 2 pieces.
