WHAT MAKES SONMARG SO SPECIAL !

When in Kashmir, Sonmarg is the perfect destination for a surreal getaway in the lap of the Himalayas. Literally translated, ‘Sonmarg’ means ‘Meadow of Gold’.

Situated just before the Zojii La pass, it is the gateway to Ladakh and
abound with natural beauty and surrounded with pristine glaciers and gushing rivers, this destination is nothing short of a paradise itself.

And after a demanding trek to Tulian Lake, today I want to take it a little easy. So in Sonmarg I've decided to put my feet up. We'll treat ourselves with a river side glamping experience, have a leisurely walk in the last village of Kashmir, enjoy rajma chawal with some epic views and just chill around in the countryside.

Whether you are someone who enjoys challenging treks or just looking to unwind from the busy city life, Sonmarg has something for every kind of traveler.
