Judy Calabrese performs her piece on the identity conflict between "the parent" and "the artist".

Judy Calabrese is a writer, performer and mother of three living in Asheville, NC. Her one woman show, Tomando Te/Drink Me explores issues of sexuality, gender identity and relationships set against the backdrop of New York City Latino Culture and premiered at the Asheville Fringe Festival. Judy is currently finishing work on a new play that challenges ideas of monogamous relationships. She has created this original performance piece, "The Mother and the Artist" for Tedx Asheville.
