Rickshaws and horse-drawn carriages moved slowly through busy bazaars like Shankhari Bazar and Sadarghat. Life in Dhaka was deeply connected to the river, the rhythm of trade, and the traditions that had flourished there for centuries, painting a picture of a city alive with history and resilience.
