Standing upon a hill under the twilight sky, this red-haired girl's life changes course after meeting a young boy with a fascination for the moon. The promise made that night is ultimately kept, taking only a drop of eternity to fulfill. The boy looks different now, but he's still with her. Together they gaze at a distant blue world as the girl eagerly waits to start a new journey in the skies.

Summary

Part 1 - Blue Skies Through Red Eyes (0:00)

In a time long since passed, Yatima arrives in the Sky Realm to collect data on primal beasts. She overclocks herself in order to record the sheer amount of information in the skies, but doing so shortens her lifespan. She makes a request to the moon to temporarily pause her mission. While Yatima waits for a response she knows won't come before her life ends, she meets a young boy.

Part 2 - Once in a Blue Moon - Scene 1 (15:38)

Yatima meets a boy named Alandus, whose interest in the moon only grows the more Yatima tells him about her home. When he learns that she's unable to return, he vows to help her find a way to go back.

Part 3 - Once in a Blue Moon - Scene 2 (23:36)

Yatima and Alandus strengthen their bonds as they search for automagods, which may help Yatima return to the moon. During their travels, the duo gains new allies, and the group eventually becomes the Society. However, Yatima's condition has deteriorated to the point where she's only able to communicate with Alandus. If Yatima's wish to complete her mission and keep traveling with her Society friends is to come true, she must return to the moon for repairs before it's too late.

Part 4 - Once in a Blue Moon - Scene 3 (38:12)

Cassius's arrival to the Sky Realm is the catalyst that sends Yatima home. After becoming an automagod, Alandus is reassembled as Raybury, allowing him to finally transport Yatima to the moon. In the present day, Yatima thanks Raybury as she gazes at the Sky Realm, and she eagerly awaits their next adventure in the world of blue.
