Potassium is very dangerous for kidney failure patients. Potassium in the right amount gives power to our muscles. Increased levels of potassium can cause a heart attack. #lowpotassiumvegetables are selected for a kidney failure patient. Avoid rooty vegetables such as potato, sweet potato, arbi, beetroot, turnip and zaminkand and leafy vegetables such as spinach, coriander, cauliflower, mustard, methi, and bathua to maintain the level of potassium. Rooty vegetables that can be taken are onion, carrot, and radish.

Any vegetable which is grown as a fruit can be taken. Low potassium leafy vegetables are brinjal, tomato, ladyfinger, bitter gourd, round gourd, snake gourd, bottle gourd, and cucumber.
