Some shots in this video are from august 2018. Since then the reconstruction moves forward. Citizens community called Childhood home of Dezo Hoffmann, that is two brothers, Michal and Simon Safarik. They decided to restore this 250-years old house in the very centre of Banska Stiavnica.
Added value of this house is the fact that there was born Dezo Hoffmann in 1912. Photographer of world scale, who had been photographing The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Marilyn Monroe ... Inside of his childhood home, there gonna be a museum and stylish accommodation. Hoffmann and his family were Slovaks of Jewish origin. That is why we have a stone memorial tablet with magen david, that will be on the walls of the house. He was buried in the Golders Green Jewish Cemetery in London.
