Representative-elect Eli San Fernando emphasized on Friday (June 13) that despite shortcomings by both the Senate and the House of Representatives, Senate President Francis 'Chiz' Escudero 'could have done something' to urgently ratify a wage hike bill before the 19th Congress closed last June 11.

San Fernando also shared his newly-elected party-list's plans for the next Congress.
