One of the White Album's most dynamic songs, Long Long Long, recreated with the closest instrumentation available. George used his J-200 on the live take with the Capo on the 3rd. This possibly helped create a fret buzz that sounded like a sitar. To achieve that sound, I taped a piece of jewelry under the strings at just the right height. Another way would be to mess with the truss rod to change the action. Paul used his Fender Jazz Bass, I'm using a Rickenbacker 4003. On the live Track Paul played a Hammond RT-3 Organ. I'm using a Nord Electro-3 into a Leslie Cabinet with a bottle on top. I couldn't get the bottle to resonate at first. Eventually, with a cajon between the bottle and Leslie I got it to rattle. The Hollywood Maple Ludwigs were recorded at Boulevard Studios engineered by Clay Blair ‪@BoulevardRecording‬
The Piano was played by Chris Thomas originally.
