uhhh this level is really good. i don't have thaaat much to say, but the gameplay feels intense and the custom monster designs scattered across the level are so cool—my favorites are the ones at 18% (thumbnail) and 66% (it's HUGE!!!). i am grateful for the calm ending, my nerves were definitely manageable. the last tricky part is the 77% straight fly section. the decoration is messy at times, but overall, i think the level has aged really well. i actually think the messiness contributes to the atmosphere. the balancing... well, the hardest parts are obviously the ship and wave parts, but there weren't any awful chokepoints, surprisingly. the transition out of the 59% wave is kind of inconsistent, though. you have to enter the ship portal fairly high (ehhh you can be low, just not too low), and smashing the bottom and going through the one-block gap is slightly awkward (but very satisfying). i'm glad i picked this up this afternoon, it took around 2 hours, maybe more, but yeah :D
