How To Lock A SD Card With A Password In Windows(How To Password Protect/Encrypt SD Card On Windows). In this video tutorial I will show how to lock SD Card with a Password in Windows.

Through File explorer
Here are the steps;
• Slide your SD card into the card reader or micro SD card adapter.
• Insert your SD card reader or micro SD card adapter into your computer.
• Click on the start button and type ‘File Explorer’ into the search bar at the bottom of the start menu. The ‘File Explorer’ option suggestion shall be displayed in the start menu.
• Click on the ‘File Explorer’ app option to open it.
• Click ‘This PC’ on the left pane menu of the file explorer.
• Right-click on the SD card among the displayed options at the bottom-right of the window.
• Click on the third option ‘Turn on Bitlocker’.
• Under the ‘Choose how you want to unlock this drive’ check on ‘Use a password to unlock the drive.’
• Enter and re-enter the password you wish under the ‘Use a password to unlock the drive’ and press ‘Next’ at the bottom-right of the page.
• Choose where you want to back up your recovery key and click on ‘Next’ at the bottom-right of the page.
• Choose how much of your disk you want to encrypt and press ‘Next’ at the bottom-right corner of the page.
• Press on ‘start encrypting’ at the bottom right of the page to lock your SD card with a password.
• You have successfully locked your SD card with a password.
