This build revolves around throwing amped up fusion grenades and hammers, it excels at any add heavy activity especially gambit. The gameplay loop consists of throwing your grenade at a group, creating 2 wells from ordinance and 2 wells from explosive (if you get a multikills) then rushing into the fray and throwing your hammer to get back whatever grenade energy you lost via the wells and impact induction. As you stack up kills you will get roaring flames going which which increase the damage of all of your abilities significantly. The fusion grenades do insane damage to yellow bars, in gambit, you won’t see enemies walk away from the grenade and hammer combo, especially if you pair it with a decent one two punch shotgun. There is the one small step shotgun that is easily farmable on the moon at the lectern of enchantment. Pair this build w sunshot or witherhoard to make wells w multikills. Spec into recovery and discipline, and because the hammer is unlimited as long as you pick it up, don’t spec into strength, the class item uses outreach to get your melee back if you do manage to toss it out of reach or lose track of it in the chaos. One last suggestion - use the new custom control options to remap your melee button so that you can hurl your hammer into enemies faces point blank, it makes such an incredible difference to the ability and allows you to have a spammable heal ability.
