One of the best parts of using any new gadget is taking it out of its box. As has become customary at Alpha Smartphones, we decided to capture the experience of unboxing the iPhone 7, Apple’s new flagship for the next twelve months.
st, Apple has included a new Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter, which is necessary because the iPhone 7 doesn’t have a headphone jack. Apple has also included a pair of EarPods that come equipped with a Lightning connector. Again, that’s on account of the iPhone 7 not having a headphone jack–something that’s going to take a lot of getting used to over the coming months.

We picked up a black version of the iPhone 7, which is new to this year’s lineup. It looks slick and hides the antenna bands well though it’s not quite as cool looking as Apple’s new “jet black” color, which has been pretty difficult to come by since pre-orders went live last week.

The iPhone 7 is pretty similar to its predecessor, sporting a similar design and functionality. However, there are some differences: the home button has been tweaked, the camera is supposedly much-improved and more. We’ll cover all of that in a versus video coming soon.The Apple iPhone is one of the most divisive smartphones the company has ever made. iPhone 7 delivers a unique experience among iPhones, with the new features like water resistance, an incredible quad-core processor so is the excellent camera that has the right upgrades to make photos look better. With iPhone 7 Apple has also changed the home button from a clickable entity to something that responds to pressure, replacing the physical home button with a Force Touch one. The bigger benefit behind is that any moving part, no matter how well-engineered, will always be a point of failure. Mechanical things tend to break down more often than parts that don't move, over time, they attract dust, grease from your fingers, fluff from the inside of your pocket, and all kinds of unpleasant dirty stuff. Removing mechanical parts improves the reliability of iPhones, which means fewer breakdowns for users.
