Türkiye's new TAYFUN Ballistic Missile is coming soon

Roketsan continues its ballistic missile studies. While mass production and delivery activities for the TAYFUN Ballistic Missile continue, new configurations are also coming.

In the statement made by Roketsan General Manager Muratİkinci on the subject, “TAYFUN is a project that represents the point that our country has reached in missile technology at the highest level. Within the scope of this project, we have provided a product that can provide deep strike and deep attack capabilities to our country's armed forces.

Mass production of TAYFUN continues. Our armed forces already share their needs in this regard with us. "In the following stages, the TAYFUN project will continue its life not as a finished product, but as a system that will meet the needs of our armed forces at the highest level with its variants, new capabilities and in the future."

Ballistic missiles, generally up to 300 kilometers, are called 'Tactical Ballistic Missile (TBM)'; Ballistic missiles with a range of 300-1000 kilometers are defined as 'Short Range Ballistic Missile (SRBM)'. TAYFUN became Turkey's first Short Range Ballistic Missile.

Thus, the Turkish Armed Forces, which has been known to have Tactical Ballistic Missile capability since the 1990s, has moved up to the next level in this field for the first time.
