Скачать или смотреть ESA GDA Knowledge Event 2025 – Sharing Knowledge, Building Impact

From 22–24 October 2025, over 80 participants gathered at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati for the Global Development Assistance (GDA) Knowledge Event - a three-day workshop dedicated to advancing the use of Earth Observation (EO) in development finance.

Representatives from the World Bank, ADB, IFAD, IDB, and UNOSSC joined ESA, country stakeholders and EO experts from across Europe to exchange knowledge, share lessons learned and strengthen collaboration.

The event highlighted how partnerships and co-design drive GDA’s mission: making satellite data a practical tool for planning, monitoring and investment in sustainable development.

Through interactive sessions, case-study discussions and demonstrations, participants explored how EO information contributes to better decision-making and how new GDA tools - the Knowledge Hub and Analytics and Processing Platform (APP) - support capacity building and long-term integration of EO in institutional processes.
