Here is Dadgad's new remaster of the band's show in Baltimore during their 1973 North American tour. This remaster of the lone audience recording is honestly extraordinary. The tape has long been notorious for being pretty poor, as it is muffled, hissy, distant, and distorted. However, Dadgad's remaster improves it significantly. While the tape is still rough, I would classify the quality of it now as being "fair" rather than poor. It still suffers from the aforementioned issues, but they are less pronounced and the tape actually has some atmosphere now. You still need bootleg ears to listen to this tape, but it's honestly not too bad now. The show itself is absolutely fantastic, one of the best shows of the whole tour, if not the year. Plant's voice is in great shape at this show, arguably his finest show of the year. He's hitting notes that would have been unthinkable for much of the year and is in great shape. Page is also absolutely on fire, shredding through the solos with great proficiency. The biggest and most notable moment is Dazed, which actually has the different sections played OUT OF ORDER. This is the first and only known time the band does this and it's definitely worth a listen. Special thanks to Dadgad for remastering this and to Nick for the thumbnail!
