Gypsum board, commonly known as drywall, is a very important material when it comes to keeping our homes and buildings safe from fires. Gypsum board slows the burn and spread of flame, giving us time to escape, and emergency services time to put out the fire. Because of its unique ability, we want to install it in any common paths in the event of a fire, one of those being staircases.
