Manuel won the IJF World Masters in 2019 in Qingdao and won the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. He became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2015. Lombardo was fifth at the 2019 World Championships. He claimed the victory at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2022 and Tbilisi in 2023.
