The idea is straightforward:
• Block-bet the flop
• Block-bet the turn
• When they check-call twice, their river range is usually weak

Recreational players rarely fast-play strong hands on monotone boards. After calling two small bets, their ranges are capped — which allows us to overbet the river and force massive overfolds.

This exploit works especially well in low and mid stakes No Limit Hold’em, where players are uncomfortable defending large river bets.
