HIV/AIDS survivors who are fighting the stigma that comes with the disease, on October 10 will be joining the rest of the world in commemorating World Mental Health Day — a day set aside by the World Health Organization to raise awareness of mental health struggles across the globe.

For insight, VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi spoke with Brian Ahimbiswe, a lifelong HIV/AIDS patient and the Global Youth Ambassador for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
