This lessons shows how to create a power waveform using the scope’s waveform math function to multiply a high-voltage waveform times a current waveform, and then uses an automatic measurement to determine the apparent power, as well as the real power consumption of a device-under-test. This lesson also shows how to compute the voltage drop across a mid-circuit component that is not referenced to ground using two passive probes and the “subtract” waveform math function.
