Make It At Walmart: Tidepool Wire-Wrapped Earrings with Jem Hawkes

Today we're learning how to make a beautiful pair of wire-wrapped earrings using the Jesse James Beads Window Box in Tidepool, available at Walmart This bead mix features a blend of glass, acrylic, and lightweight metal beads. This mix features a beautiful blend of teal beads paired with gold-colored accents.

Jem Hawkes will be showing us how to create our own pair of wire-wrapped earrings using beads from our Tidepool mix, 18 gauge wire, and a few of your favorite earring findings. If you are new to wire-wrapping this tutorial is beginner-friendly and easy to do for wire-wrappers of all levels.

You will also need to have some tools on hand, we recommend a wire-cutting tool, round nose pliers, and bend nose pliers. You can find these tools at Jesse James Beads' website, or by searching your local Hobby or Crafting store in their jewelry-making section.

For beginners, we also recommend heating your wire in your hands, this helps you shape your wire into the heart shape that will adorn the bottom of our earrings. Jem will take you through the steps to show you how to properly handle your wire and bring these earrings to life.
