Replacing a Manhole Cover on Driveway / The Carpenter's Daughter

Firstly, sorry I haven't been able to finish fitting our double gate yet.

As we're working on our drive, I needed do a few other jobs first to get ready for some gravel.

And one of them was to replace our manhole with one we could place gravel in and make more discrete.

Mortar (3 part sharp sand, 1 part cement)
A small trowel (£1.99) from my local hardware store.
