We're building something big! Earth 2 is a geolocational metaverse set on a pristine 1:1 scale, geographically accurate playable version of our planet Earth. Our vision? A progressively immersive digital Earth Players can explore, build, trade, battle, shop, and own inside a constantly emerging alternate reality that provides immediate familiarity to every person on Earth.

While our team is first focused on releasing Chapter 1: Explore. Craft. Survive. in Q2, we thought some of our community might be interested in a sneak peek at the evolving combat mechanics of E2V1, and what we have been developing and play-testing for our first open-world mini-game: Earth 2 Hordes.

What is Earth 2 Hordes?

Earth 2 Hordes is a fun, chaotic, and often hilarious mini-game where Players face off against waves of enemies like skeleton warriors, zombies, and rock golems. The twist? It’s not solely entertainment, but ties directly into the Earth 2 ecosystem and adds real value for Players and Landowners alike by providing opportunities to earn relevant digital byproducts which can be used in various facets of the EcoSim.

Earth 2 Hordes will be playable on any T1 or T2 property staked with Essence, and will introduce an exciting new way to increase rewards for Landowners and Players.

When Players engage in the game on your staked property, potential E-ther attraction increases, leading to better yield from your Mentars and even giving players a chance to farm E-ther, items, energy types, and more. A very handy option for T1 and T2 Landowners both pre and post the first Essence halving event.
