The Beskauga project is located at 350 metres above sea level and sits within the Central Asian Orogenic Belt in northeastern Kazakhstan. The project is located only 300 kilometres from the capital, Astana.
Excellent existing infrastructure exists on, or nearby, the Beskauga deposit. 1140KVA power lines run over top of the deposit, which sits 8 kilometres off a major four-lane highway. Towns, heavy rail, an international airport, and a trained workforce are all close by.

Arras Minerals entered into an option to purchase agreement in 2020 with Copperbelt AG, a private Swiss-based group for a 4-year option to acquire 100% of the Beskauga copper-gold project. The Option Agreement requires Arras to spend US$15M in exploration expenditures over the 4 years, after which time Arras can purchase 100% of Beskauga for a US$15 million cash payment.
