This RoRo StretchPack® packaging machine, with an integrated pusher, can pack multiple sizes of insulation panels. In the video, the machine is packing EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulation panels, but the packaging machine is also suitable for other types of rigid foam insulation materials like XPS, PUR and PIR (polyiso).

The packaging machine can pack one package per packaging cycle, called single packaging, or more packages per packaging cycle, called Semiflow packaging.

In Semiflow packaging mode, film for more products is rolled up on the gripper arms, which enables more products to be packed per packaging cycle. In this video, you will see Semiflow packaging of five products per packaging cycle. The main benefit of using the Semiflow packaging mode is that the packaging machine does not have to spend time rolling up the film on the gripper unit between each package. It reduces the packaging time, and thus Semiflow packaging increases your packaging capacity. Moreover, it eliminates the need to cut film snips at the ends of each package. Only on the last package in each packaging cycle is it necessary to cut a film snip. Therefore, you reduce the film consumption a little per pack, and there are fewer film snips to handle for recycling.

Using the RoRo StretchPack® packaging machine, the insulation panels are packed horizontally into a tubular stretch hood film. During the packaging process, the stretch hood film is sealed on both ends, providing 100% waterproof packaging that protects the insulation panels from dirt and moisture.
