Spira Prime features high puncture damage, the highest critical chance of all throwing knife type weapons, and high critical damamge. Compared to the regular Spira, you'll notice an increase in both Critical chance, and critical damamge multipliers, as well as lower base damage on the Spira Prime. Like some other throwing weapons, the Spira Prime also has a sort of innate punchthrough/ corpse throw that allows you to penetrate straight through enemies allowing you to hit multiple targets if they're in a line. This weapon is also Silent. Conversely, Spira Prime isn't without its shortcomings. Compared to other throwing secondary weapons, the Spira Prime has a slow fire rate. It also shoots in an arc which can make it difficult to use effectively at long distances. Lastly, it fires from two slightly different angles with a knife being thrown from each the left and right hand so you have to adjust your shot every time you fire which can make it difficult to achieve consistent headshots.
