Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at these LED replacement bulbs. These bulbs are going to replace several different kind of bulbs. They're going to fit with your 93 type, your 1003 type, your 1141 and your 1156 bulb types. They're going to be great for providing that nice, cool white light that you need to illuminate your area. Whether it's in a side, or hanging, or overhead application.

These are going to do a great job for you. They are a 12 volt bulb, so they're going to work for many different applications in your RV's or trailers, boats, or vehicles. You can see it does have the diodes all the way around, so we're going to have a 360 degree light emission. So, going to get lots of light being put out.This does have a light output of 215 lumens. It is a cool white color, so it's right there in the middle of the Kelvin scale.

Right about 5500, so it is just slightly on the cooler side, very close to that middle white. So if you're not familiar with the Kelvin scale, it goes from your warm, oranger light, to your cold blue light. This is right there in the middle, but just slightly on the cooler side. It does have 18 diodes in total. So, it's going to give us that 360 degree light.

If you're not familiar with LED's, they are a great replacement for your incandescent bulbs. They're a lot hardier, you're not going to have the brittle filaments that can break. So, you're not going to have to replace them like you would your incandescent bulbs. They are rated for up to 50000 hours. So, you're going to get a lot of life out of these.They are also more efficient than your incandescent bulbs.

They're going to provide a brighter light with less power output. These do have a wattage of 2.4 watts. The equivalent incandescent wattage would be up to 30 watts. They're only going to draw about .2 amps on a 12 volt system. So, not much power required for them. And they're going to give you that nice bright light. These are dimmable, so if you're needing to replace your bulbs in a dimmable fixture, these will work just fine. They do have a built in surge protector that's going to safeguard the internal electronics, so you're not going to have to worry about that blowing or anything like that.These will connect through your single contact BA15S bayonet base so that if you've got that 15 millimeter socket, these will just do a simple push, screw motion to get installed. So very easy to get put it. They do have a non-polarized design. So we're not going to have to worry about any wiring changes or anything like that. It's going to be a very easy install. As you can see, this kit does come with six of these bulbs. I do want to give you a demonstration of how bright these are, so I'm going to hook them up to my little wiring harness here. You can see that nice bright light. Let me turn off the lights in the studio. Give you an even clearer picture there.So, very bright when we have all six of them installed together, it's going to be a nice bright. You can see on my white paper the color, it is that middle cool blue. So, it's going to be a great option for you if you're needing to replace your bulbs. These do come with a five year limited warranty. So if you have any problems, then those first five years the manufacturer will stand behind their product and help you out with that. Overall I think this is going to be a great option for those of you who are needing to replace your bulbs. I really like this design, all the diodes on there giving it that 360 degree radius.
