BRENTFORD'S CREEPY ABANDONED STADIUM 😱 Griffin Park

In 2020 Brentford Football Club left behind their old ground GRIFFIN PARK and moved into the Brentford Community Stadium (currently known as the Gtech for sponsorship purposes)... Griffin Park was demolished for the most part, but very little work has been carried out recently. It has been left somewhat abandoned and has had break ins according to neighbours on a regular basis 😬 The current state of what was once a famous football stadium (because of having a pub on all 4 corners of the ground) is a bit creepy... 👻 Whether planning permission has yet to be granted for whatever development is about to follow, I don't know... But what I do know from visiting the sites of these abandoned football grounds, is it leaves a big hole in the community. Set amongst the terraced housing, the locals had some good (and bad of course) times at Griffin Park. I understand the need for a new stadium and fortunately the Gtech Community Stadium is only a walk up the road... ⚽️🏝️
