LET IT DIE: Deathverse Gameplay (No Commentary)

LET IT DIE: Deathverse was a 16 player battle royale with highly engaging melee combat. The gameplay featured here was before the server shutdown in 18 July 2023. It didn't take off so only a few players know how sick and rage inducing this game was. The way that this game deals out punishment between players is like no other battle royale I've played. You can be hammering another player only to slip up and have them counter you completely. This game strongly favors high aggression and strategy. You would have to weave in and out of fights utilizing the tools given to you while avoiding being put in the dirt by multiple fighters at once.
This game spawned from another game called Let It Die which has the gameplay of a souls-like with free-to-win monetization. I've played through it and it has some cool concepts but the monetization holds it back. It would be much more substantial if they developed Deathverse to be a single player game with the battle royal being a f2p side mode. Deathverse was fun but there wasn't too much to it. It was really hard to get into with how challenging the combat can be especially for new players. Battle royale's are pretty generic at this point but I really enjoyed Deathverse.
