Notre Dame walks into Philly and proves that they are the number one team in the country by destroying Denver in the semi-finals. The star of the game was Will Lynch who went 18 of 23 off the stripe. Yet in a game that was constantly shifting possession Notre Dame was able to hold Denver to only six goals. The Pios unable to get past this stone wall defense that consists of stars like Ben Ramsey and Liam Entenmann. The Irish defense held Denver to only 6 goals the entire game. They play a simple system yet they rarely make mistakes inside of it allowing them to shut down opposing teams. Today I am going to break down what makes the Irish defense so good.
