In this video you'll see me diagnose and repair my 2005 GMC Envoy GMT360 (which is very similar to a Chevrolet Trailblazer) giving me the P0410 check engine code. This vehicle is powered by the Vortec 4200 inline 6 cylinder engine. This code pertains to the secondary air injection system and was fairly easy for me to diagnose and fix. I purchased all three major components (listed above) before hand to be sure I had the parts needed to perform the repair but in the end all I needed was the air injection valve. This air injection valve is common to fail due to water corrosion. I wanted to see the corrosion for myself so I took apart the failed unit and sure enough the plunger was rusted shut.

This repair was fairly easy due to the location of the part but it may not be so easy for other makes and models. Always do your own research and consult a professional if needed.
