Spirit Warrior: The Weird Story Behind D&D's Strangest Monster

The spirit warrior is one of the most unique monsters from D&D history I've ever seen. This creature originally got its start in AD&D 2E with Spelljammer, and ever since has remained one of the strangest monsters ever put to print in D&D. So before I converted it to 5E D&D, this week, I took a deep dive into this fascinating creature's lore, ecology, and publication history to uncover everything, and I mean literally everything, there is to know.
