MIXED VEGETABLE SIZZLER RECIPE:
Oil
Garlic and Ginger Puree
Red & Green Capsicum
Sliced White Onion
Schezwan Sauce
Chilli Sauce
Sriracha Sauce
Soy Sauce
Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce
White Vinegar
Salt
Sugar
Fresh Coriander
Paneer, Baby Corn, Baby Potato, Mogo, Aubergine, Mushroom (all battered with a Cornflour & Plain Flour mix)

Once wok stir fried the above is served (on top of sliced White Cabbage) on a sizzling hot cast iron sizzler plate (heated to a very high heat on the stove)

Pre-cooked Rice
Soy Sauce
Chopped Green Coriander

PANEER TIKKA GRILL SHASHLIK:
Vegetable Oil (Tel)
Paneer Squares (marinated in mixed spices)
Capsicum and Onion
Above is Squewered and then grilled
Once cooked the above is served with a:

After a gap of 3 years we once again get to visit renowned Leicester Restaurant "Sharmilee".

Note that; in Indian restaurants dishes are cooked on a very high heat which delivers a sublime smokiness to the cooked food and gives that distinctive restaurant flavour and character to a dish.

Whenever my family and I visit Leicester; "Sharmilee" Restaurant is on our "to visit" list. Sharmilee is genuinely one of our favourite restaurants because the food never fails to deliver on the taste factor and the portion size of the food served up is always generous.

This restaurant gets very busy especially at the weekends.

This is one of Leicester's Golden Mile's "Desi Restaurant's" and amongst one of our favourite places to visit when ever we happen to be in Leicester, their massive "all you can eat" buffet is astonishing value for money.

As you probably know by now, we absolutely love Desi places like this, a place serving delicious restaurant quality, home cooked food; but at very affordable street food prices!!!

The Golden Mile in Leicester is home to some of the most famous and popular food places the UK (some established many decades ago when East African Asians arrived in the UK having fled the Idi Amin regime) some of the East Africa Asians settled in the streets in and around the Belgrave road and Melton Road area (a stretch of road affectionately known as the "Golden Mile"). Most if not all of the restaurants here are very homely and welcoming and it does not feel like you are eating in an unfamiliar restaurant or cafe but more like eating at a friend or relatives place.
