"Strush", 2006 Wave Master.
Strush formed in 2003. In August of 2005, the group released its first single, which was self-titled, which was only available at their lives and a only a few stores in Japan. By the fall of 2005, Strush had developed a strong following in the dying days of the soft visual movement, and the group would then become a semi-major act and signed to Wave Master. In June of 2006, Strush released their first full length album, which was self-titled. The album had poor sales in the mainstream market, but would have strong sales in the underground music scene. In early 2007, Strush would become a full fledged major act and sign to Columbia, and the group would record material during the year and 2008, but nothing would be released through Columbia as the group would end up abruptly disbanding in late 2008. One of the guitarists of Strush, Shun (瞬), went on to join the cult visual group Ethnic Legist, which he was active in under the alias of Shu. In 2014, Ethnic Legist split, and Shu then retired from the visual scene. Bassist Shotaro (章太郎) went on to join the visual group Ever+Last, which he was active in until it eventually disbanded in 2011. Shotaro then retired from the visual scene and instead joined the indies group Panee (ぱねぇ), which would eventually fold by 2013. He then joined the group Bright-on, which also disintegrated by 2015. After Bright-on split, Shotaro then retired from the underground music scene in general. The frontman of Strush, Kouhey, went on to form the project Rock☆Extreme, which would disband in 2011. He then went on to start a solo career, which would dissolve by 2017. In 2017, Kouhey would resurrect the Rock☆Extreme project, although around this time, he would be accused of being one of the most infamous trolls in Japanese internet history, named F9. Perhaps due to this controversy, the Rock☆Extreme project would end up splitting again after only a year, and Kouhey then retired from the visual scene.
