Sonic Generations - Time Eater - Final Boss & Ending (Hard Mode/S-Rank/No Hit/Skill) - CTT Trophy

Описание к видео Sonic Generations - Time Eater - Final Boss & Ending (Hard Mode/S-Rank/No Hit/Skill) - CTT Trophy

Here we are, the fight many of you have wanted to see me do. Many people HATE this boss a lot, and with good reason. There are a lot of issues this boss has, most notable being the music, and the game doing an awful job of telling you how to play this fight. Let me run down the bad parts in detail:

First, the music. This boss does not even hold a candle to Solaris or Dark Gaia solely because of the final boss music for this is so underwhelming compared to the others. I feel this may be because this game did not really have its own theme song, like all the other Sonics did, but rather just remixed all the old music so that they had no theme song to make epic for this fight.

Next, the game does not do a good job of telling you exactly how to fight Time Eater. Omachao is not in this fight with you, but rather your friends are there to constantly throw advice at you. The problem is, unless you know exactly what they're hinting at, their advice is really bad or even inaccurate. Because of this, many people get stuck on this fight for a while until they end up learning most of the tricks.

CTT = Can't Touch This, a trophy for this fight, more explained below.

Restrictions
No Hit
No Death
No Equipped Skills
Must S-Rank

S-Rank

It gives you a good amount of time to S-Rank it, probably 5-6 minutes max. Just learn how to hit the Orb faster and you got this.

Trophies

Can't Touch This: Beat Time Eater without getting hit (by Time Eater)

This trophy is hard to get usually. It's hard to tell what you can get hit by and how to dodge everything. Once you learn it all, though, it's not too bad. Note that debris does not count as a hit, as usual. I purposely didn't get the trophy until I recorded it so that no one can say "OH HEYYYYYYY U GOT HIT."

Tips

Instead of random tips, I'll explain this battle in full detail. But it's too long to post here, so read it here for anyone who wants to know this fight more or needs help just beating him: http://bizkit047.blogspot.com/2012/01... or http://www.bizkit.me for that and more.

I wrote a little guide for it since I seem to know this fight better than most people do.

S-Rank tip: Using "Start Over" causes you to lose a life, but still allows you to get S-Rank. Use this if you mess up. You can't use Start Over if you're on your last life. Furthermore, for some reason, if you use Continue after losing all lives, you can't S-Rank the Act. The way to fix this is to just choose Start Over after the Continue, then you can S-Rank it.

This is the end of my Sonic Generations run. I do have a couple more videos planned from this game, but nothing really new. You'll see in the coming weeks. I got so much good feedback from people liking my Sonic Generation videos that I'll definitely do videos on the next Sonic game when it comes out! Thanks for watching!

Oh, one last thing. A lot of people also wondered about my opinion of this game. Well, I don't think the game is worth the $60 it came out as (I got it for $30 on sale), but it was a really fun game to play through and I enjoyed it and had a lot of nostalgia with it. It's definitely a step in the right direction from Sega in their attempt to revive this horribly damaged series.
