Stories of the famed Underground Railroad have been retold by many, but in a new Barry Jenkins-directed limited series based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Colson Whitehead, it’s bringing a different type of storytelling to the small screen.

PIX11 News’ Ojinika Obiekwe chatted with young actress Kylee Allen, one of the cast members of new series “The Underground Railroad," about the dramatic show and how the experience was filming it.
