How to install an Autometer "Mechanical" Fuel Pressure Gauge, Part 3

It's time for a Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge, for my Pontiac, by Autometer. I recently installed a FiTech Fuel Injection system, and I'd like an easy way to determine if I have adequate fuel pressure, hence the gauge. In the last two episode's we found a gauge location, installed a Mechanical Water Temperature gauge, and a mechanical Oil Pressure gauge. If you missed it, check out the first rebuild episode were I tear down the engine, the bearings were toast! Resulting in LOW OIL PRESSURE! WARNING - It is NOT recommended to run a fuel line inside the cabin. I chose to at my own risk. If you're concerned, use a pressure transducer, or upgrade to a ElectroMechanical gauge, like the Stepper Motor version I mentioned earlier in the video.

In this episode, "How to install an Autometer Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge, Part 3", we review the three different types of gauges (Mechanical, Air Core, and Digital Stepper Motor with Solid state sending unit) While this is applicable to any engine, this particular video will show the back up pressure port on a Pontiac 400.
