Following the release of her aptly titled debut album First Rodeo (2025), Gina Malcolm opens the new year with the epic, near-eight-minute single “Tumblin’ In.”
Drifting and swaying with a widescreen Americana feel, the song settles into a laid-back groove where pedal steel and twin guitars add emotional weight to lyrics about loneliness, love, and the quiet hope of connection. From the opening line — “the snow on the side of the road, don’t look so pretty now” — Tumblin’ In invites you on a slow-burn journey of reflection and release.

Rhythms magazine’s Trevor J. Leeden writes:
