The object of the game is to win Trios! - That’s 3 of the same value.
Shuffle and deal cards to each player.
For a 3-player game, players receive 9 cards each.
A 4-player game 7 cards,
5 players 6 cards
and 6 players receive 5 cards.
Deal the remaining cards face down on the center of the table.
The first player starts by revealing cards one by one. By turning over a card from the table, or asking a player to reveal either their highest or lowest card (this includes from your own hand too). Place the revealed card face up on the table for all to see.
The first player continues to reveal cards in the hopes of getting a Trio. Their turn ends, when a Trio is matched or when a non-matching card is revealed. If a Trio is matched, the played places the set face up in front of them and if a non-matching card is revealed, all cards are returned to where they came from.
You can ask the same player to reveal more than one card on your turn, even reveal more than one card from your own hand, or from the table. The most important thing to remember is that you may only use either your highest or lowest card in your hand, never a card from the middle.
The first person to have 3 trios or the Trio of 7 wins!

The Spicy Version!
If you want to spice things up a little, you could also use the numbers printed at the bottom of the cards. If you won a trio of 1, for instance, all you would need is to win a trio of either 6 or 8 to win the game.
