Today, we're back at the Dallas Municipal Building to take a ride on the historic jail elevator once used by the City of Dallas Police Department. This elevator has transported many famous faces, including Lee Harvey Oswald, one of the more notable visitors of the mint-green side of the building.

The City of Dallas moved from the building in the 1970s, leaving only a few facilities behind. It wasn't until the UNT Dallas College of Law purchased the building from the city for $1 that it was able to be restored to its former glory and put back to good use. Of course, restoring this elevator was part of it!
