池上本門寺 お会式万灯練供養 8K

毎年10月11日～13日にかけて30万人もの参拝者が境内や池上地域を訪れる盛大な御会式(おえしき)。
池上本門寺に続く道には多くの屋台が並びお祭りムード満載でそこに12日に行われるメインイベントである万灯練供養（まんどうねりくよう)では100基以上の桜と五重塔を模した万灯が太鼓や笛が奏でるお囃子に合わせて境内に向かっていき盛大に盛り上がっていました。

Every year from October 11th to 13th, the grand Oeshiki ceremony attracts as many as 300,000 worshippers to the temple grounds and the Ikegami area.
The road leading to Ikegami Honmonji Temple is lined with long rows of food stalls, creating a festive atmosphere. The main event, held on the 12th, is the Mando Nerikuyo, where more than 100 lanterns modeled after cherry blossoms and five-story pagodas are carried into the temple grounds to the accompaniment of drums and flutes, creating a grand atmosphere.
